Compact water purifiers

A water treatment plant is considered to be any system of electrical and hydraulic equipment that has the capacity to treat surface or ground water with the aim of purifying it and obtaining water suitable for human and animal consumption. This water must comply with the qualities stipulated by the WHO and special attention must be paid to ensure that all the parameters of the potability analysis do not exceed the established limits.

Parameters covered

What conditions need to be analysed?

▶  Turbidity: The turbidity index must be close to zero to guarantee the quality of the drinking water to be consumed.

▶  Bacteria: Different bacterial measurements and analyses are available in the laboratory analyses qu

▶  PH: The ideal value for will be 7, but it can vary slightly without danger.

▶  Salinity: This value should not be excessively high as it is one of the most complex to reduce, and can only be treated by adding industrial reverse osmosis technology to the water treatment plants.

▶  Suspended solids and organic matter

▶  Arsenic: Natural compound present in well and mains water. It can be treated by IMA water arsenic removal filters.

▶  Iron and manganese: Natural parameters present especially in well water that can be removed by IMA water's IMA-Fe filtration systems.

▶  Metals: Compounds such as copper, cadmium, chromium and aluminium. They must be treated by means of absorption equipment.

▶  Odour and taste: These are the most common parameters that must be treated in water for human consumption by means of activated carbon filters.
