IMA water manual dechlorinating filters are designed for the treatment of drinking and industrial water and are used to remove chlorine, organic matter, odor and taste from water.

The operation of industrial activated carbon filters with manual head is indicated for pressurized operation without electrical connection. They are recommended for cases where a control of filter backwashing and mechanical maintenance is desired without the need for valves and electrical connections.

The main advantages of IMA water manual filter dechlorinators are:

• Low probability of failure due to the absence of electrical components
• Reduced maintenance by only needing the activation of the manual head valve for backwashing. The number of backwashes will vary depending on the amount of solids in the water, it can vary from once a day for very dirty water to every several weeks for clean water from mains and wells.
• No electrical connection is required.
